Terence Norman graduated from West Brook Sr. High School in Beaumont Texas in 1983. After 10 years of dedicated service in the United States Marine Corps, he decided to continue his education. He attended The University of Texas @ San Antonio, and received a Bachelors of Business Administration in Taxation (BBA-Tax) in 1998. He continued his education as he was accepted into the Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston Texas. After earning his Juris Doctorate, he went immediately into private practice with the law firm of Pigott & Associates in Houston Texas. In 2004, he moved his law practice (Norman & Associates Law Firm) to Pearland Texas, where he remains.
A very accomplished attorney, he sits on several Boards. Currently he sits on the Board of Trustees of the Houston Lawyer Referral Service (HLRS), where he is also the Chair of the Budget and Finance Committee. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Houston Lawyers Association (HLA), where he is also the Chair of the Mentor Committee. He also sits on the Board of Directors for the African American Lawyers Section of the State Bar of Texas (AALS), where he is also the Treasurer.
He is committed to the community of Pearland. For the past three years, he has devoted many hours as a volunteer coach for the Pearland Parks & Recreation flag football league. He is a member of the Rotary Club International, 288 Corridor chapter, and is active in its community service activities.
He is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 7109, and a member of the Disabled American veterans (DAV) Gold Star Chapter 195.
